How families might be impacted by new diagnostic criterias for autism

This is an interesting article in the NY Times Health section.  Long ago I had posted an inquiry into people's thoughts on the proposed diagnostic changes.  I was hopeful that including folks with Asperger's Syndrome fully into the Autism umbrella would help them get services.  But that doesn't appear to be the case:
